LOCATION AND ACCESSES

Estaon is situated in the “Pallars Sobirà” region from the Pyrenees.

To get to Estaon you should go to “Sort”. There are two options to get to “Sort” depending on where you come from, going through “Port del Cantó” (from “Seu d’Urgell” to “Sort”) or else through “Port de Comiols” (from “Artesa de Segre” to “Tremp”).

To ge to “Vall d’Estaon”, you should go to “Llavorsí” and turn right crossing the river. In few kilometers you will see “Pui Tabaca” that will welcome you. Once you get to “Ribera de Cardós” you will find a hostel and a camping in your right. Then you will find the fork on your left that will drive you to Estaon. The asphalt of the road is in bad conditions but Estaon is only 6 kilometers far.

You might find animals crossing the road so be aware until you arrive to Estaon.

You will cross “Surri”, “Anás” y “Bonestarre” villages before arriving to Estaon, the highest village of the “Vall de Cardós”.
